REPORT OF HUMANTARIAN IN EASTERN OF THE DRC
I. THE LIFE OF PEOPLE IN CAMPS OF MUGUNGA.
The people of eastern of the Democratic Republic of Congo, buffeted by years of war, endured until now days, more armed conflict and relate of violations of National and International laws since 1997 until to day.
Horrific attacks on civilian, including murders, widespread rape, and the forced recruitment and use of child soldiers, increased following political agreements that were supposed to bring these abuses to a halt.
Because of these horrific situations, more people have been displaced from their home and other continues to be displaced.
The last attack between the National Congress for the Defence of the People “CNDP” that changed the appellation to the Total Liberation Movement of Congolese People “MLTPC” or Mouvement de liberation total du peuple Congolais; against the FARDC, The National army; many people of the Eastern of the DRC are crossing very bad situations. In Camps of MUGUNGA in Goma, there are more than 150.000 people because of the last attack of CNDP to FARDC on 7-8th October 2008.

Some people contacted in camps said: we are crossing many difficulties in camps; some of us are seeking, other are dying because of bad conditions.
Children are surfing and dying , no useful medicaments to satisfied them, as we may see this photo.
The assistance of food is not satisfier to all people, par a moth for example, each family may receive only 3litters of oil and 15kg of maize cassava, this is a declaration of a displaced people in camps of Mugunga in Goma.
II. THE UNITED NATIONS HABITAT
The World Habitat day comes to be celebrate the secondly in the Democratic Republic of Congo, then , the 22nd birth day in the World, this day has been celebrate in Goma.
The first celebration in the DRC was on Monday 1st October 2007 in Goma at the LA JOIE PLAZZA HOTEL to the initiative of UN HABITAT in collaboration with the World Medical Found Organization.
The Government authorities of the North Kivu province were invited to explain their politic to reform the town of Goma that has been demolished by the volcanic eruption on thusday 17th January, 2002 .
Some declaration has been given by the representing of the Minister of Habitat and Urbanism of the North Kivu Province. You can see the wish of north Kivu authorities to www.provincedunordkivu.com
After a year , , as the World Habitat day must have place on the first Monday of the moth of October , that celebration happened on 6th October 2008 at the
IHUSI HOTEL of Goma; among targets the UN HABITAT to help many people of the world who is living in bad conditions “in Squatting or Bidon Ville”, the DRC is among Countries that will receive that help of the UN Habitat , for building some houses before the wedge took before 2020. The Government of the DRC count also to rebuild well the country in general , and the North Kivu in particular to build 20.000houses that could be execute by Chinese to their contract with the DRC

This world habitat day was organised by the UN Habitat in collaboration with the organization GROUPE D’ACTIONS POUR LES DROITS “G.A.D”
III. THE DAY OF PRAYER IN THE NORTH KIVU
By the recommendation of authorities of the North kivu province, in particular the ruler Julian PALUKU KAHONGYA, on Tuesday 7th October, 2008.
No activity has passed in the province wherever, only the pray.
The target of the prayer was to Place GOD at the first place to build peace in the DRC never-dless or whereas ideas of the Human person to bring peace.
All people of the province were in prayer, different religious of place, such as Christian, Buddhist, and Muslims …, the goal is to show to GOD the problem of the area, as he is the self who can say a word and peace must be.
For example in the church in which I participated , that cold 8th Pentecost’s Church MAPENDO in Goma-Birere quarter ,
Children and adults were in prayer all the morning, only weeping to GOD to halt war in the DRC
In some area of the North Kivu, by the message sent by a member of a local NGOs cold PEPA/asbl in WALIKALE, because of poverty some people miss until now sickle Clothes to put on their bodies and other many things.

PEPA in Easter DR Congo update

L’Est de la RDC devenu pendant plusieurs années un champs de batail,les pertes des vies humaines ont été prisent comme une habitude, cad la vie n’avais plus une considération chez un Congolais ou Congolaises de l’Est du Pays ;
Les guerres ont occasionnées des déplacements massifs des populations, des violations des droits humains, les peuples en souffrance, tel est le cas de cette image au jour où j’avais pris fuite de Goma vers Bukavu avec plusieurs autres personnes,
Quelle vie que l’on peut mener sans stabilité ?
La population continue à traverser des situations difficiles, surtout les gens qui sont encore dans des Camps des déplacés non loin de la ville de Goma, cas de MUGUNGA 3
Petit à petit, par les initiatives des autorités congolaises et de la communauté internationales et amis de la RDC, dans la recherche de la paix pour la RDC ont mis en place le programme AMANI qui visait à regrouper toutes les forces et groupes armés en conflits pour prendre conscience des violations qui se passent à l’Est lesquelles ils sont auteurs et de regagner le chemin de paix en signant un acte d’engagement pour la sécurité et le développement des Provinces du Nord et Sud Kivu
Une fois encore malgré l’acte de l’engagement de Goma, les violations ont remontés le niveau jusqu’à arriver à opérer des massacre à Kiwandja par le hommes fidèle à Laurent Nkunda actuellement exilé à Gisenyi au Rwanda non loi de la ville de Goma
Les initiatives de recherche de paix continu par le sommet tripartite de NAIROBI qui regroupait toutes les parties en conflits et les pays voisins dont seraient originaire ou soutiendraient certaines milices
Après plusieurs accords dont la population ne sait pas encore le contenu, le Président Joseph KABILA et son Gouvernement décide la coopération des forces armées de ces différents pays voisins en conflits jadis de constituer une ARMEE CONJOINTE FARDC et APR dans l’objectif de traquer et déstabiliser les milices qui ne voulait pas rejoindre le chemin de paix à l’Est de la RDC, c’est ce qui aurait expliquer la présence de l’armée Patriotique Rwandaise conduit par James KABAREBE sur le territoire Congolais
Comme par exemple cette image de l’entrée de ces militaires Rwandais en RDC
Après le délais leur accordé, le retour officiel de ces militaires des différentes personnalités ont été inviter à voir comment ces militaire de l’APR devrai rentrer chez eux en date du 25 Février 2009
Et différentes délégations ont pris part à cette cérémonie comme on peut constaté :
Après la cérémonie, les militaires Rwandais commencent à rentrer chez eux tout en sachant avoir déstabiliser toutes les milices qui auraient refusées de rejoindre le processus de paix, comme les FDLR
Après que le CNDP de Laurent NKUNDA qui déstabilisait la Gouvernement ait rejoint l’armée Nationale, on suppose que comme le calme règne actuellement dans toute la partie EST de la RDC, la guerre est fini et que chaque Congolais aura la liberté de circuler son pays sans problème et sans peur comme est entrain de faire le Président de la République Mr JOSEPH KABILA KABANGE
LA JURNEE INTERNATIONALE DE LA FEMME
En République Démocratique du Congo, par rapport à la journée mondiale de la femme, Des manifestations des femmes on eu lieu dans tous les coins du pays ce 08mars 2009 , par rapport à d’autres pays, le thème traité au niveau National était le LEADERSHIP DE LA FEMME CONGOLAISE DANS LA LUTTE CONTRE LE VIH/SIDA, les femmes congolaises manifeste le sentiment de joie et de gratitude surtout par le fait de voir que le pays entier connaît actuellement un calme et même dans les coins comme la province du Nord Kivu considéré comme le siège de tous les troubles
C’est de la même façon pour des femmes partisanes de certains Parti Politiques en RDC, cas de la ville de Goma où toutes les mamans étaient mobilisées à participer au défilé de marche pour la célébration de cette journée du 8 Mars, journée reconnue mondialement comme journée de la femme ;
En plus les femmes des certaines organisations locales qu’internationales oeuvrant sur place au Nord Kivu
Les activités de joie reflète toutes les couches des populations par le fait de voir que c’ est possible qu’il ait une semaine qui passe sans que les gens ne fuient pas leurs maisons suite aux guerres
C’est le cas de ce marché que j’ai visité , dénommé marché KITUKU que voici ces deux images
Le Marché Kituku situé au bord du lac Kivu, communément appelé Grand Lac ;
C’est un marché qui reçoit les gens qui viennent de certains coins de la province du Sud Kivu, comme les gens de BIRAVA,L’île d’IDJUI, MINOVA, KALEHE et la population de la ville de Goma, MUGUNGA,SAKE et autres…
